1. Bullet trains will run in India by August 2026, says Indian Railways Minister
India’s bullet trainThe dream has been around for a long time, now hopefully it will come true in a few years. Indian Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnab announced that India’s first bullet train will run between Ahmedabad and Mumbai by August 2026. According to the statement of the Railway Minister of India, currently the work of the bullet train is progressing at a very fast pace. 2026 will see India’s first bullet train, and the government plans to roll it out to other parts of the country in 2026. Indian Railways is working on building this bullet train which will be able to run at a speed of 350 km per hour. The first bullet train of this section will run from Ahmedabad to Mumbai with a length of 508 km. It is estimated that the bullet train will be able to cover this distance in three hours. Within the state of Gujarat, the work of this bullet train has progressed to 32.93% and the overall work is reported to be 26.33%.
2. Atal innovation mission launched Atal Sathi project
Atal Innovation Mission or AIM launched by Niti Aayog of India launched the Atal Sathi scheme. Through this mission they will create their own laboratories in schools across India to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in the minds of the youth. Atal Tinkering Lab will work to teach handicrafts in schools in India. Incidentally, according to the educational structure of India, more emphasis is placed on the students’ moral knowledge. But from now on, under the supervision of NITI Aayog, Atal Tinkering Lab will be launched in various schools in India where students will get to know more details about machinery, machinery, technology and will get opportunity to make their own.

3. The first methanol-powered bus was inaugurated in Bangalore
India’s first methanol-powered bus was inaugurated in Bangalore by Shri Nitin Gatkari, India’s Transport Minister. In the first phase, a total of 80 buses will be operated through this technology. The bus was built in collaboration with Niti Aayog, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Ashok Leyland and Indian Oil. Indian Oil has said that they will provide free oil for the first three months. Ashok Leyland has built 20 of these buses on a trial basis and has said it will build more such buses later. 5. IBA World Women’s Boxing Championship 2023
The IBA World Women’s Boxing Championship 2023 is being held in New Delhi, India. This championship was inaugurated on March 15. 7. RRR is India’s first film to win an Oscar
2023 Indian hit Telugu movie RRR won the Oscar for the song nattu nattu in RRR movie. This is the first time an Indian film has won an Oscar. Naatu Naatu won the title of Best Original Song. This movie in India took the fourth place in terms of revenue at the box office. This movie stars NT Rama Rao, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Aiya Bhatt, the movie is directed by SS Raja Mouli. The movie was released on 25 March 2022.
8. India’s first short film The Elephant Whisperers won the Oscar
A source of great pride for Indian cinema this year as two Indian films won Oscars in the same year. After the movie RRR, The Elephant Whisperers won the title of “Best documentary short film”. This short film is made in South Indian Tamil language. The movie was released on the Netflix platform. The movie is directed by Karthiki Gonsalves.
