Benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana

1. Healthcare coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family

Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched in September 2018. The main objective of implementing this scheme in India was to provide healthcare to 50 crore people. Through this scheme, every family below the poverty line is given Rs.5 lakh as healthcare cover. This healthcare coverage is provided free of charge by the government. Out of which the ratio of central government and state government grants is 60:40.
