Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana 2023: West Bengal Government has launched many schemes to benefit all the citizens of the state. Among the various schemes launched in West Bengal is the BMSSY scheme. Under this scheme, the West Bengal government has announced various social protections to the unorganized workers residing in the state. The state government implements many welfare schemes for unorganized workers, such as state-aided schemes, welfare schemes for workers engaged in building and other construction activities, etc.

Government of West Bengal has launched Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana to provide benefits to citizens in the unorganized sector by integrating various schemes. Employees applying under this scheme will get equal benefits. Citizens had to deposit 25 rupees every month to avail the benefits related to provident fund scheme, the state government has made this monthly contribution from last April 1, 2020 and the government has decided to collect all the dues itself.

Health and Family Welfare
20,000 per annum to the beneficiary or his family members for free hospitalization or outpatient treatment under the West Bengal Health Scheme by the Government of West Bengal. The following benefits will be provided through this scheme.

- 1000 for the first five days for loss of employment and additional compensation of Rs.100 per day for remaining days not exceeding Rs.10,000 will be provided by the Government of West Bengal.

- 2000 rupees per annum will be given for assistance

Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana: Benefits Available
- Beneficiaries under the scheme are required to deposit Rs. 25 per month in the fund
- 30 per month will be given by the government along with the workers deposit
- Interest payable annually at the rate of interest on the amount deposited under the fund will also be borne by the State Government
- In case the employee attains the age of 60 years or ceases to be a subscriber under the scheme or the account becomes inactive due to death, the total amount deposited along with interest shall be returned to the nominee or family members.
- If for any reason the beneficiary employee is unable to contribute for three consecutive financial years then the employee’s account will be closed
- Customer’s account can be reopened by showing reasons for non-payment
- No arrears of contribution are allowed to the beneficiary employees

All the citizens of West Bengal who want to apply under the BMSSY Scheme 2023 have to follow the following procedures.
- To apply you first need to go to Binamuliya Social Security Yojana official website ( https://bmssy.wblabour.gov.in/ )
- A home page will open in front of you
- On the home page, select the “New Registration By Beneficiary” option
- Here you can see the registration form
- In the registration form, you have to provide the category of worker, applicant name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, identity proof, case, type of ration card/ food partner number.
- After providing all the information you have to choose ‘Register’ option
- After that you have to login to ‘Portal’
- After login to the portal you need to select ‘Nominee Details’ option from the Bina Mulya Samajik Suraksha Yojana Dashboard
