- Every student eligible for this scholarship must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Every student should be studying in any department of secondary, higher secondary graduation, post graduation.
- Students must have secured 60 percent marks in the final exam.
- This scholarship is for students studying in Hindi language or Hindi medium in West Bengal.
- This scholarship is applicable for post secondary studies.
- Not if family or student’s mother tongue is Hindi.
- This scholarship is applicable for applicants who are studying in West Bengal from non Hindi speaking states.
- This scholarship is not applicable if an applicant is pursuing two courses or two degrees simultaneously.
- The applicant must have passed the previous examination first time i.e. no failure.
- If any student remains in the same class, he/she will not get the scholarship.
- If the applicant is working in any government or private organization then he will not get the scholarship.
